Cancellation Fee
Once works have been accepted, scheduled, materials arranged, labour reserved or project preparation started, a customer may be liable for a cancellation fee equal to 25% of the agreed project value, quoted price or scheduled works value unless Newlook Roofing and Masonry confirms otherwise in writing.
- The 25% cancellation fee may apply where a customer cancels, delays, refuses access, materially changes the agreed scope or prevents the works from proceeding after approval, booking or scheduling.
- The fee is intended to cover reserved labour time, administration, project planning, supplier coordination, access arrangements, lost diary space and other reasonable business losses caused by cancellation.
- Bespoke, special-order, non-returnable, already-purchased or already-delivered materials may be charged separately in addition to the cancellation fee where applicable.
- Newlook Roofing and Masonry may choose, at its discretion, to reduce or waive the fee where cancellation is caused by circumstances outside the customer’s reasonable control.
